Bill Dobbs Obituary

Bill Dobbs, age 72 of Helenwood, Tennessee, passed away at his home on Friday, December 28, 2018. Born in McCreary County, Kentucky on December 13, 1946 to the late Gilbert and Panzy Cook Dobbs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Larry Dobbs; grandson Justin Dobbs.

Survived by his wife Jane Dobbs; daughters: Melinda Dobbs of Muncie, Indiana, Melinda Daugherty and husband Johnnie of Helenwood, Tennessee and Rachel Slaven and husband Mark of Oneida, Tennessee; children that he raised Kyle and Dustin Dobbs of Helenwood, Tennessee; brothers: Lee Dobbs and Jimmy Dobbs and wife Vickie all of Muncie, Indiana; grandchildren: Brock and Jon Daugherty, Gavin Lanter, and Marrisa and Julia Slaven; many great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Dobbs family on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

Following the visitation, Bill’s request was to be cremated.
