Joseph R. Roysdon

Joseph Ray Roysdon, age 48 of Huntsville, TN passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was born on May 28, 1975, in Jamestown, TN to Raymond Roysdon and the late Sheila Shannon. Joseph was a member of New River Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey and Delta Roysdon and Chester and June Tompkins.

He is survived by his four beautiful daughters, Sarah Roysdon of Oneida, TN, Jessica, Brooklyn and Brittany Roysdon, all of Helenwood, TN; the mother of his children, Vanessa Roysdon of Helenwood, TN; one special grandson, Parker Cole; father, Raymond Roysdon of Helenwood, TN; two brothers, Adam Roysdon and partner Russell of Oneida, TN, and Jamey Roysdon of Helenwood, TN; two nieces, Desirae Roysdon and Breann of Lafollette, TN, Baleigh Roysdon of Helenwood, TN; one uncle, Gary Tompkins and wife Donna of Oneida, TN; two aunts, Susan Pope and husband Gene of Robbins, TN, Tammy Claiborne and husband Glen of Oak Ridge, TN; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Roysdon family on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 5 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. David Walker officiating.

After the service, Joseph’s wishes were cremation.
