Teresa Ann Chitwood age 59 of Huntsville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Teresa was born July 19, 1958 to the late Carl Harris and Josephine Walker in Newberry, South Carolina and was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church in Robbins, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John Harris, Jack Harris and James Harris.

Teresa is survived by husband, Benjamin Ronald Chitwood; Children, Jody Harris and wife, Heather of Walland, TN, Peggy Smart and husband, Stephen of Huntsville, TN, Amie Boatwright and husband, Donald of Helenwood, TN, David Lackey Jr. and Wife, Amanda of Oneida, TN, Jason Clyde Lackey and wife, Brandy of Pine Knot, KY; one step son Ricky Chitwood and wife, Missy of Oak Ridge, TN; Brothers, Daniel Harris, Carl Harris, Duane Harris all of Newberry, South Carolina, Stanley Harris of California;  38 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Chitwood family on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 6 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. at the Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church in Robbins, TN with Bro. Spencer Ellis officiating.

After the funeral service, her wishes were cremation.
