Sue Marie Abston Thomas, age 92 of Winfield, TN passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at her home. Born March 6, 1925 in Winfield, she was the daughter of Jack and Mattie Dolen Abston; and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her daughter: Janet Thomas Simpson; granddaughter: Mattie Foster; son-in-law: Donny Simpson; sisters: Ruth, Maude and Jean; and brother: Tommy.

She is survived by her 5 children, daughters: Sandra Seeber, Lushia King and husband Bill; and sons: Marshall Thomas, Jack Thomas and wife Carletta, and Mike Thomas and wife Judy; 16 grandkids, 35 great grandkids, 9 great great grandkids; as well as many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Thomas family on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Botts and Bro. Danny Sexton officiating. Music will be provided by: Crystal Krahn.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in the New Light Cemetery in Winfield, TN. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
