Sonja Ruth Wilson, age 62 of Winfield, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, September  3, 2017 at her home.   She was born in Scott County, Tennessee on March 26, 1955 to the late Ledford and Mary Chitwood Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wolford Wilson; brothers: Walter, Joe and Robert Heston and Haven Davis; sisters Zilla Mae Davis.

Survived by her son Randy Buttram and wife Mariam; Stepsons: Lonnie and Ronnie Wilson; brothers and sisters: Thelma Jeffers, Albert Davis, Jean Ellis and Margaret Trammell; grandchildren: Samuel Buttram, Arianna Buttram, Dusty Wilson, Jeff Wilson, Christy Wilson and Avina Wilson; and special friend Don Trammell; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Wilson family on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral at 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Wendell Garrett officiating.  Music will be provided by the Chitwood singers.

Graveside service will be on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Chitwood Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Buttram, David Cupp, Barry Wilson, Cody Wilson, Paul Buttram, and Robbie Wilson.  Honorary pallbearers: Grayson Buttram and Adam Martin.
