Roy L. (Moe) Foster, age 70 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the LaFollette Medical Center. Born on June 22, 1947 in Scott County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James William and Ruth Ellis Foster.   He was a member of the Black Oak Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Shelva Foster; infant brother: Donnie Foster; son Donnie Lee Foster; and brother Buzz Foster; father-in-law Celestino Mauring.

Roy is survived by his wife of 15 years Rose Foster; five chidren: Debbie Foster, Avery Foster, Travis Foster, Karl Foster, Rashelle Foster; six grandchildren: Dustin Foster, Cody, Blake and Preston Harness, Rusty and Jade Foster; six great grandchildren: Elijah, Micah, and Uriah Foster, Coven, Kamdyn, and Bristol Harness; sister Joan Terry and husband Dennis; brother Mike Foster and wife Debbie; mother-in-law Editha Mauring; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 12 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Black Oak Baptist Church with Bro. Kyle Keeton and Bro. Crestin Jeremy Burke officiating.  Music will be provided by Lori Marcum and Denny Neal, Zola Cross, and the Black Oak Choir.

Burial will follow in the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Sean Cross, Dwayne Russell, Cody Harness, Dakota Cross, Dudley Crabtree, and Doug Foster.  Honorary pallbearer: Blake Harness, Rusty Foster and Preston Harness.
