Mrs. Pearl Phillips, age 84 of Conyers, died Thursday, June 15, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her son, William A. Phillips, Jr.; parents Robert and Cora Hatton; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her husband William A. Phillips, Sr. of Conyers; sons and daughters-in-laws Robert C. and Dianne Phillips of Springhill, FL, Michael J and Florene Phillips of Conyers, David C. and Sheila Phillips of Pensacola, FL; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; sister Carol Williamson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Phillips was a member of the Rockdale County Board of education as a bus driver with over 30 years of service.  She enjoyed playing canasta with her friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel.

Interment will follow in at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.  Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
