Nolen Carl Lowe, age 73 of Oneida, Tennessee, made his final journey home on Saturday, March 11, 2017.

Born in Scott County, Tennessee on December 28, 1943 he was the son of Anzel Lowe and the late Wanda C. Lowe.

He was a member of the Capital Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, June Lowe; stepfather, Odas Lowe; one infant sister, Thelma Ann; three brothers, Kendell, Rodger and David Lowe; one brother-in-law, Harry Byrge; one granddaughter, Jerrianda Kennedy.

Nolen is survived by his father, Anzel Lowe of Stevens, TN; six children, Wanda Pergram of New River, Wayne Lowe of Norma, David Lowe and wife Vicky of Norma, Tammy Kennedy and husband Randy of Oneida, Larry Byrge and wife Tiffany of Huntsville and Carla Hicks of Oneida; six brothers, James Lowe and wife Evelyn of Helenwood, Oscar Lowe and wife Cindy of Ditney Trail, Lonas Lowe and wife Lodena of Huntsville, Johnny Lowe and wife Jody of Oneida, Thomas Lowe, Allen Lowe and wife Doris all of Stephens, TN.; seven sisters, Lois Byrge of Norma, Parthenie Perry and husband Ray of Lafollette, Fay Heath of Huntsville, Dessie Braiden of Georgia, Karen Alshire and husband Pat of Huntsville, Diane Reynolds and husband Mike of Oakdale and Janice Farmer of Petros; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren. He also leaves many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Lowe family on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Carlie Duncan and Bro. Dudley Harness officiating.

Graveside service will be conducted on March 16, 2017 at 1 p.m.
