Mildred Irene Foster, age 90, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 4th, 2017. She was born July 9, 1927, in Oneida, Tennessee. She retired from General Motors where she was a faithful employee for 40 plus years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kettering. Mildred was a loving and giving mother who found joy with her family, friends and her Savior Jesus Christ. 

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Dorcia Wilburn Foster; parents, Gason and Ruby Marcum; and a sister, Ora M. Suhar. 

She is survived by a sister, Gloria June Daniel of Oneida, TN.; a son, Gary Don Foster of Townsend, Tennessee; daughters, Jo Ann Amburgey of Crystal Lake, IL., and Debra Kay Fry (David) of Kettering, OH.; grandchildren, Brigit Amburgey (Mike), Nieka Fink (Scott), Codie Becker (Jeremy), Kirk Amburgey (Eunice), Jewl Amburgey, Dara Lehr (PJ), Brent Lackey (Krista), Elisabeth Crone (Travis); 13 great-grandchildren; a nephew, Mike Suhar of Centerville, OH., as well as many other dear friends and relatives. 

Friends may visit with the Foster family on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road in Kettering. 

Friends may also visit with the Foster family on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.  

Graveside service will follow at the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery with Bro. Keith Marcum officiating.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice. 

West-Murley Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements for Mildred Irene Foster.
