Mr. Marshall Foster King, age 92 of Winfield, TN, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab Facility in Oneida, TN.  Born June 1, 1924 in Somerset, KY, he was the son of Foster and Rosa Cundiff King.  Marshall was saved on April 11, 1994, and was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years:  Elsie Strunk King; son:  Charles David King; son-in-law:  Ken Creekmore; sisters:  Loretta Painter and Shirlene Chitwood.

Marshall is survived by his daughters:  Marsha Lynn Creekmore and Elaine King Koger and husband Charlie, all of Winfield, TN; granddaughter:  Denise Miller and husband Greg; great grandchildren:  Ashley Jeffers and husband Keven, and Wesley Cross; step-grandson:  Kenny Creekmore; great-great grandchildren:  Gracie Cross, Lennox Cross, Maddox (who was his best friend), Laney and Kinsley Jeffers; sister:  Juanita Chitwood and husband Bob of FL; life-long friend:  George Roark; special caregivers, besides daughters:  Morgan Strunk, Carol Jackson and Brenda Allen; Quality Care Nurse:  Bridgett Ball Smith; special nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the King family on Sunday, May 28, 2017, from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Goad and Bro. Keven Jeffers officiating. 

Graveside service will be held on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Chitwood Cemetery in Winfield, TN with full Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #136 of Oneida.  Pallbearers will be:  Lyndel Shepard, W. A. Jeffers, Paul Jeffers, Wesley Cross, Kenny Creekmore and Bill Chitwood.
