Marc Avery Lackey, age 45 of Robbins, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Tennova North Medical Center after a long illness.  He was born in Hartford City, Indiana on June 27, 1972.

Marc was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church in Helenwood and an avid fisherman and carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his father Virtis Avery “Bill” Lackey; stepmom Arbutus Eileen Lackey.

Survived by his wife Cathy Marie (Worthington) Lackey of Robbins, Tennessee; children: Jonathan Glen Culler of Sevierville, Tennessee, Amanda Rose (Culler) Lackey and husband Andrew, Drew Castor of Hartford City, Indiana, Joshua Culler of Robbins, Tennessee, Dustin Lackey and wife Courtney, Lucas Avery Reilly Lackey of Robbins, Tennessee; grandchildren: Zackary Lackey, Matthew Lackey, Autumn Culler and Braxton Castor; mother Bonnie Sotdorus of Hartford City, Indiana; sisters: Tammy Holloway and husband Jeff, Angela Anderson and husband John; nieces and nephew: Jessi, Jami, Joey and Amanda; very special family and friends: Odie and Joann Lackey of Honeycreek, Barney Smithers of Robbins, Tennessee and Randy Lewallen of Robbins, Tennessee; James and Mae Murphy of Columbia, Kentucky; other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Lackey family on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Father Ray Powell officiating.

After the service, Marc’s request is to be cremated.
