Glenna Gay Byrd Scott, age 61, of Huntsville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida.  Born April 24, 1956, she was the daughter of Alpha Jean Byrd; and was of the Baptist Faith.

 Gay was preceded in death by her grandparents:  Oliver Byrd and Flossie Lowe Byrd; great grandparents: Sherwood and Parzida Lowe, Henry and Daisy Byrd; brother:  Ray Byrd; uncles: Odeva Byrd, Odie Byrd, Delmer Gene Lawson, Greg Robinson, Walter Hatfield; aunts:  Deanna Byrd Lawson and Julie Byrd Hatfield.

 In addition to her mother, Gay is survived by nieces, whom she loved like her own:  Nikki Byrd and fiancé Billy Williams, Victoria Byrd and John Williams; great-niece:  Charley Raylyn Williams; uncles: Mack Byrd and wife Brenda, and Daniel Byrd of Huntsville; aunts: Mae and husband George Arms of Huntsville, Sheila Robinson of GA, Glenna Scott and husband Bud of IN, and Ginger Byrd of GA; as well as many cousins and friends.

 Friends may visit with the Scott family on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 6 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Carlie Duncan officiating.  Music will be provided by the Mason Family and Cassie and Tannah Patton.

 Graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Fairview Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
