Estle Nelson Obituary

Estle “Crickett” Lee Nelson, age 69 of Pioneer, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at his home. Born on September 12, 1948 to the late James Wade and Evie Bowlin Nelson.

He is survived by son: Estle Nelson Jr. of Kentucky; sisters: Nannie Washam of Pioneer, Tennessee and Sarah E. Green of Pioneer, Tennessee; brother: Joe E. Nelson of Dayton, Ohio; special friend and caretaker: Wilma Hall and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Zelda Byrd and all the CNA and Hospice workers, and Frances Chadwell and Joyce Lloyd for being there during his final days.

Friends may visit with the Nelson family on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Chaplain James Dunn officiating.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Nelson and Green Cemetery in Pioneer. Pallbearers will be: James Kirby, Jackie Kirby, Shane Griffin, Bobby Joe Nelson, Bobby Richardson, and Jamie West.
