Mrs. Emma Deanna Byrd Lawson, age 66 of Pioneer, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Huntsville Manor Nursing Home.  Born September 21, 1950 in Scott County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Flossie Lowe Byrd.  Deanna was a member of the Capitol Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Delmer Gene Lawson; brothers:  Odeva Byrd and Odie Byrd; Sister:  Julie Hatfield; mother and father-in-law:  Elmer and Minnie Lawson.

She is survived by her 3 children:  Gena Webb and fiancé Tony Harness of Huntsville, TN, Tina Lawson of San Antonio, TX, and Chris Lawson and wife Megan of Brownsburg, IN; 8 grandchildren:  Nick, Nate, Olivia and Jake Lawson, Meagan James, Zachary McFarland, Tyler Harness and Sarah Kidd; 3 great grandchildren:  Remington, Kinlyn and Tristan Andrew; siblings:  Mack Byrd and wife Brenda, Boone Byrd, Alpha Jean Byrd, Sheila Robinson, Glenna Scott and husband Bud, and Mae Arms and husband George; brothers and sisters-in-law:  Larry Lawson, Norma Jeffers and Janis Cross; special friend who was like a grandson to her:  Matt Smithers; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Lawson family on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Dudley Harness and Bro. Chris Lawson officiating.  Music will be provided by Tammy Hutson.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Fairview Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be:  Hunter Bunch, Tyler Hutson, Matt Smithers, Braxton Bond, Tyler Harness and Elijah Crowley.

In-Lieu-of-Flowers donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Scott County.

West-Murley Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Emma Deanna Byrd Lawson.
