Elmer Earl Byrd, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee. Born June 10, 1963 to Gladys Garrett Potter and the late Leland Byrd.

He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather Gary Potter.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Terry Byrd and girlfriend Samantha Daugherty and Jeffery Byrd both of Elgin, Tennessee; sisters, Rita Huckelby and boyfriend Wendell Smithers of Elgin, Tennessee and Darlene Turner and husband Bob of Covington, Kentucky; special friend Mary Brown; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Byrd family on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of West- Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Duncan officiating.

Interment will follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
