Elcaney Eugene Chambers, age 83 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at his home. He was born February 23, 1934 to Eldon Chambers and Nela Stanley Chambers. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Virginia Cvickich and Bernice Lambert; brothers: William J. Chambers and Vaughn Chambers. Survivors include his wife Evelyn Chambers and his sons: Danny Chambers and wife Kristi, Brian Chambers and wife Sabrina, Jim Reed and wife Frances, Don Reed and wife Linda and one daughter Violet Smith and husband Steve. Grandchildren: Ethan Smith, Gabriel Smith, Payton Chambers, Daniel, Candace Reed, Misty Reed, Charles Reed; great grandchildren: Tagen Reed, Alena and Cainan; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Chambers family on Monday, April 3, 2017 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne Lawson officiating.

Graveside service will be on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 12 p.m. at the Pine Hill Cemetery with full military honors provided by American Legion Post #136 of Oneida.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
