Delores Artman

Delores Artman, age 82 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.  Born March 19, 1935 in Keysville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Kirby Lee and Ruth Forrester Phillips, but raised by her loving second mother, Edith Phillips.  

Delores was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Oneida, where she was a staple in the church choir for many years; she loved playing the piano, gardening, working at the church Mission House, and hummingbirds, and was well known for her baking and famous fudge.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter:  Elicia Shreiner.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren:  Patricia Shreiner (Larry), L. J. (Ashleigh) Brittany, Josiah, and Noah, Natacia Shreiner, Logan and Rhylie, Phylis DeWeese (Arnie), Sherise Dean (Sam), Elin and Ava, Tivous DeWeese (Mary Beth), Edie Christy (Chris), Carissa (Ben), Emily, Maggie, and Christopher; sister:  Joan Tschoepe (Elbert), Kirby (Janice), Katy and Joseph; and other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Artman family on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Rev. David Gass officiating.

Burial will follow in Carson Memorial Park.
