Mr. Clifford Ray Jones, age 56, of the Black Creek Community in Robbins, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, Tennessee.  Born December 27, 1961, he was the son of Flonnie Lawson Jones and the late Kenneth Jones.  He was a member of Black Creek United Baptist Church. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Johnny and Mae Lawson and Alfred and Cleda Jones; Brother: Ronald Jones. Special friends: L.A. McCartt and Glen McCartt

Cliff enjoyed hunting, fishing, and talking to people.  He knew no strangers and could make anyone smile. Most importantly, Cliff was a loving husband, father, papaw, son, and brother.  He never let any struggles in life get him down.  He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed.    

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara Wilson Jones; Daughter: Jenny Gibson, and husband, Bub; Son: Tony Jones, and wife, Miranda; Granddaughter as well as his pride and joy: Kendell Gibson; Brother: Donald Jones, and wife, Polly; Sisters: Sandy Thompson, and husband, Wendell; Karen Jones; and Sharon Jones; Father and Mother-in-law: Frazier and Alma Wilson; Sisters-in-law: Cindy Jones; Charlotte Ipock, and husband, James; Brother-in-law: Willie Wilson, and wife, Angie; Nieces and Nephews: Becky Terry, and husband, Justin; Amanda Byrge, and husband, Donnie; Tiffany Cordell, and husband, Dustin; Carla Duncan, and husband, Jason; Blake Jones; Christy Blevins, and husband, Shane; Jason Huckeby, and companion, Chelsey; Crystal Wilson; Troy Wilson; Alisha & Kevin Cross; 17 Great-nieces and nephews; Special friends: Charles Lindsay, Dennis Shannon, Dennis Foster, Joe Brown, Jerry Frogge, Gary Frogge, Jim Huckeby, and P.J. McCartt; and many other relatives and friends. 

Friends may visit with the Jones family on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home in Oneida, Tennessee with Bro. David Webb and Bro. Michael Carroll officiating.  Music will be provided by The Singing Hamby’s.  

Interment will follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be: Dennis Jones, Vince Jones, Casey Willoughby, Shane Blevins, Jason Huckeby, Kevin Cross, Cody Byrd, and Derek Byrd.
