Barbara Jean Brown Terry, age 77 of Oneida, TN passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland, TN. Born August, 18, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Artist and Stella Mae Chitwood Brown. Barbara was a faithful member of the New Haven Baptist Church serving along her late husband, Thomas E. "Sonny" Terry, to whom she was married for over 56 years.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. "Sonny" Terry; mother and father-in-law, Hillary and Lurie Terry; sister-in-law, Shirley Roark; and one infant sister.

Barbara is survived by her four sons and their families, Greg Terry and wife Denise of Eads, TN, along with grandchildren, Jarrod, Jordan, and wife Nicole of Bartlett, TN, Mike Terry and wife, Kim, of Bartlett, TN along with granddaughter, Alesha Terry White and husband, Austin, of New Orleans, Louisiana, and grandson, Seth Terry and wife, Erin and her great-grandson, Roan Terry, great-granddaughters, Linden and Sage Terry of Memphis, TN, Kevin Terry and wife, Chalea of Cleveland, TN along with grandchildren, Mallori and Coleton, and Steven Terry and wife, Patti, of Cleveland, TN with granddaughters, Ashlyn and McKenzie Terry; three brothers, James Russell and wife, Wanda, of Winfield, TN, Ken Brown and wife, Joan, of Crossville, TN, and David Brown and wife, Joann, of Winfield, TN; sister-in-law, Lou Alexander of Bowling Green; and many other special relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Terry family on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. at the New Haven Baptist Church with Bro. Philip Kazee, Bro. Dale Smith, and Bro. Patrick Sexton officiating.

Graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Cooper Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Jordan, Jarrod, and Coleton Terry, Austin White, Sean and Chris Allen.
