Barbara Davis

Barbara Davis age 71, of Helenwood, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Elmcroft Senior Living of Knoxville, Tennessee. Barbara was born on February 1, 1947 in Scott County, Tennessee to the late Sterling and Ruth Adkins Daugherty.

Barbara was a member of the Upper Jellico Creek Baptist Church and Helenwood Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband: Phillip Davis; daughter: Melissa Davis; sisters: Anna Lee Phillips, Eva Mae Wilson, and Lula Bell Ball.

She is survived by her son: Charles Davis and wife Michelle of Powell, Tennessee; the two lights of her life, granddaughters: Shadow and Sage Davis; sisters: Alma June Todd of Robbins, Tennessee, Lida Agnes Daugherty of Helenwood, Tennessee, and Audrey Mclellan and husband David of Sevierville, Tennessee; brothers: Carl Henry Daugherty and wife Beverly of Jellico Creek, Tennessee and Roland Dean Daugherty and wife Margie of Jamestown, Tennessee and many other loving relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Davis family on Saturday April 14, 2018 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jim West and Bro. Jeff Davis officiating.

Music will be provided by Lloyd and Arnold Stephens.

Burial will follow in the Daniel Memorial Cemetery in Helenwood, Tennessee.
